PAGE PATERSON - M.Ac., L.Ac. #001
Page graduated from the Master's degree program at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, Maryland in 1989. She returned to Wilmington, N.C. and opened her practice as well as joining an established practice in Chapel Hill, N.C. In 1994, she sold her Chapel Hill practice and became full time in Wilmington. Acupuncture was new to N.C. at that time, and there was much to be done to educate the community about acupuncture's ancient history and its benefits. From 1991-1992, Page was vice president of the Acupuncture Association of North Carolina and 1992-1993 served as president. During this time the association was working hard to get acupuncture licensed in N.C. In 1994, acupuncture became licensed in N.C., and Page was appointed to the N.C. Acupuncture Licensing Board and served a 2-year term. The N.C. Acupuncture Licensing Board granted its first 6 licenses to the board members in 1994 and Page became licensed, #001.
Page was a licensed massage therapist for 15 years prior to studying acupuncture and has training in craniosacral, sacred geometry, essential oils and most recently has completed an intensive 2-year certification course in Chinese herbs from The Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Hallandale, Florida.

Chiropractic:
Kristen A. Patton, DC, CMT
Dr. Kristen A. Patton is trained in diagnostics, chiropractic manipulation, and nutrition. This includes developing treatment plans with outcome measures to determine if current treatment methods are successful, if further diagnostic testing is required, or if a referral to another health care practitioner is necessary. She utilizes conservative techniques (soft tissue applications, Arthrostim techniques, and diversified adjustments) to facilitate the body’s innate healing ability.
Dr. Patton graduated Manga Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2005 and a certification for Massage Therapy from The Baltimore School of Massage Therapy and Bodywork in 1999. She is also certified in Emotional Polarity Technique™ (http://www.eptworks.com/). From 2000-2003 she worked for DC United and Washington Freedom Soccer Teams.
As a massage therapist, Dr. Patton’s focus on clinical massage over the past 10 years has given her exceptional experience in treating both acute and repetitive strain injuries, pre- and post-surgery patients, and chronic illnesses. Because of her experience in the health care system and working with individuals in pain, Dr. Patton understands that stress and emotional trauma can impede the healing process. Her energy techniques are effective at relieving these blocks and therefore facilitate healing.
Dr. Patton decided to make Wilmington, NC the home of her practice, Feel Better Now.
